A little bit about Modes

Modes is one of the founding partners of InspectsGlo Ltd. 

He worked in Total exploration and production company as quality assurance and control inspector for 8 years and is highly experienced in quality assurance/control on Lifting Equipment Operations in the upstream petroleum / Construction sector and skilled in developing and inspecting processes and procedures, setting machine and equipment controls for mechanical tools such as power hoists, drilling machines, overhead cranes, etc.

He is experienced in hazardous risk identifications/assessments, forecasting and planning to mitigate impacts on technical processes, production tests,  in conducting  machine components defect  investigations, examinations and Extensive experience and proven competence in the planning, risk assessment and safe implementation of lifting operations during the fabrication and construction activities of structures (topsides, process plant modules,  bridges, flare towers etc.), offshore and where applicable, for onshore construction sites.

He is fully conversant with BSEN, LOLER and DNV technical standards, processes and procedures for assuring the technical Integrity of lifting equipment.

Advance Cause Tree Analysis, Accident Investigation and Introduction to Cause Tree Analysis, American Society for Non-Destructive Test PT Level 2, Hazard Identification and Risk Control Management, Helicopter Underwater Escape Training, IMDGS by Sea, Investigating workplace incidents, Lifting Equipment Engineers Association, Lifting Management System, North Sea Lifting and Survival at sea.

Previous Work Experiences

Prior to founding InspectsGlo Ltd, Modes worked as a Quality Health Safety and Environment Officer (QHSE) in different oil and gas companies ranging from  Cameroon offshore systems, SNEPCO, Exxon Mobil, etc. He has also worked as a maintenance Manager/Lifting Equipment Inspector and Quality Assurance/Quality Control Inspector.

He is also a member of Lifting Equipment Engineers Association in UK and a member of North Sea Lifting (NSL) in UK.
